Regular solitude is good for you

I am feeling frazzled, snappy with my family. I know why - it's been many weeks since I have been on retreat. I need three days solitude every few weeks to stay sane (and bearable to live with!). It helps me connect with Spirit. Thankfully I am going on retreat next week.


As you become more spiritually 'open' you become more sensitive. I often feel overwhelmed by the negativity and violence portrayed by the media. Going on retreat restores my perspective; I return home peaceful and optimistic, ready to pass on the spiritual message again.
