It's winter and, as usual, I find myself working hard to stay positive. Cold gray weather and illness always dampen my spirits. I am reminding myself, 'these challenging Earth conditions are designed to help me grow spiritually. If it was easy, there would be no growth.'
However those brave faithful words can sound hollow at times. So I plod on, finding small signs of hope and love each day. This morning a hawk flew near my kitchen window, the sunrise lighting under its wings. Hawks are my totem bird. It was a sign, 'keep going, Lorraine.'
