I Pod mania

Did you know that Ipods can reach the same decibel level as a chainsaw? Why would a sane person choose to have a chainsaw screeching in their ear for hours on end? It is predicted that hearing loss will become a major problem on Earth, because of our love affair with Ipods.

Hearing is not the only loss associated with Ipods. While you are connected to music, you are disconnected from your soul and your spirit guide. There is no way they can reach you through the cacophony of sounds that is Metallica, Madonna, Miley Cyrus or even Mozart.

Spirit guides must yell themselves hoarse, trying to get through to their person on Earth. One day they might have an extremely important message for you. 'Hey, watch out! You're about to step in front of that big tru-'

Oh well, they tried. And you will have all eternity to listen to the rest of the song...

Souls in the spirit world must be highly amused to see Earthlings, plugs in their ears, stumbling through life, totally oblivious to the amazing spiritual guidance available to them.

Message to self: have Ipod-free time every day. There is life beyond the earlobes.

Eternity is your true time frame

I had a dream this morning. It depicted eternity as a long continuum - never ending of course - and each life we live is attached to that long continuum, like fruit on a tree. It put into perspective for me this lifetime and this moment...

My message is: don't panic! You have time to do everything you plan. Time and space are tools for keeping order on planet Earth: they don't exist in the spirit world. When you grasp the concept of eternity, it brings a sense of peace. Eternity is God's master plan.
