If you know someone who is suffering, find a way to help them - even in the smallest of ways. If there is nothing directly you can do, you can always pray for them. I have eight people I am praying for each day, because they are experiencing physical or emotional pain.
We all came from God, therefore there is no separation. We all contain God's DNA, linking us back to our creator. So if we turn our back on someone who is struggling, it is like turning our back on ourselves. Think of one person you can help or pray for: do it today.

Compassion for suffering in Australian fires
How can anyone fail to be moved by the enormity of the Victoria bushfire tragedy? The fear experienced by the people who knew they would die in the flames is unimaginable. My heart has opened with compassion for those souls, who are now at peace.
Extremes of weather around the globe are creating havoc. We are paying the price for years of disregard for the eco-systems that have kept our beautiful planet healthy. Prayer and meditation will help to ease human and planetary suffering.
