Pray and ye shall receive...

I am writing a book containing 101 inspirational, quirky short essays, titled 101 Soul Smiles. I needed five subjects to make up the 101, but just couldn't come up with five subjects that I hadn't already written about. It was becoming vexing, so yesterday I prayed for answers.

Last night I 'happened to' read about Edison and Enstein receiving inspiration for inventions while they slept. I went to sleep, and half woke at 4am with the final five subjects for my book. I woke my husband, told him and went back to sleep! My prayer was answered...

Prayer: A vital key to soul contact

When I meditate I use prayers and mantras. They remind me that I am a soul, not this rather imperfect bundle of body/mind/emotions. The prayers help me focus on higher energies and they are soothing when I am distracted - like now, during house-selling.

This website has 21 pages of universal prayers and mantras (I printed them all!): www.homepages.ihug.co.nz/-rsw/prayers . I use the Gayatri and Great Invocation every day. Be open to the possibility of prayer in your life - it really works.

Recognise the angels in your life

Yesterday I received help from three 'angels'. My psychic friend Maureen had prayed for me over my difficult situation. We believe her prayers and mine sent someone who single-handedly turned the problem into hope. This second angel was a miracle from God.

The third angel, my friend Camille, suggested we practice the seminars we are presenting this weekend. Camille's advice has completely transformed my seminar - I needed her help and I didn't even know it. Look out for your angels, bearing gifts of love.
