Further thoughts from 'Why You Are Who You Are by Graham Bernard: 'The way to come to grips with our problems is to face up to them. The vague feelings of unrest and discontent...the difficulties...the compulsive urges... the misery of day to day living...all are indications of unsolved problems.'
As I read that, I realized that I have made huge progress in recent years. I used to put off dealing with difficulties, which caused much self-pity. These days I face problems head-on, and work hard to find solutions. The result? Serenity, and renewed faith in my soul path.
