Your spirit guides are cheering you on...

This morning's meditation was amazing. The light I saw behind my eyes was beautiful pulsating purple light, full of love. I didn't want to end the meditation and leave the light. When I 'die' I will be going into that light where my teachers and soul group will be waiting.

Today my spirit guides said to remember they are always right beside me, as are the spirit guides for every soul on Earth. Your guides stand on the sidelines of your life, cheering you on. They're not allowed to interfere but they can encourage, guide and support you.

You are never alone on your spiritual journey

This morning before I meditated I said 'Good morning' to my spirit guides and helpers. It was comforting to see their lights, and know that they are there for me. I need to remember that life is a team effort - you are never alone on your journey of spiritual growth.

You can practice connecting with your spirit guides. Close your eyes for five minutes - do it at the same time every day if you can - they'll look out for you then. You'll see tiny dots of white light. There may be one or many lights (I see up to six). Say hi to them!

Learn to 'see' your spirit guides

I have said in previous blogs that I see my spirit guides as small lights when I close my eyes. I have been aware of their existence for many years. This morning during meditation I suddenly pictured those lights as people standing before me. It was so comforting.

I have always had faith in my spirit helpers, however their lights have seemed impersonal to me. Today I felt I met these wonderful beings. I know they love and support me every day in my spiritual growth. Learn to 'see' and trust your own spirit guides. They exist.

The Violet Flame is like a divine vacuum-cleaner

During my meditation this morning I called on the Violet Flame to burn up all negativity and fear around me. I forget to do this. The Violet Flame is like a divine vacuum-cleaner, sucking away all negativity from your aura. Picture it as a giant purple flame surrounding you.

I also asked my spirit guides to remove blockages from the channel which connects me to the spirit world. They identified a blockage in my heart, related to the communication difficulties with my parents. They will help me speak my truth to them and remove the blockage.

I Pod mania

Did you know that Ipods can reach the same decibel level as a chainsaw? Why would a sane person choose to have a chainsaw screeching in their ear for hours on end? It is predicted that hearing loss will become a major problem on Earth, because of our love affair with Ipods.

Hearing is not the only loss associated with Ipods. While you are connected to music, you are disconnected from your soul and your spirit guide. There is no way they can reach you through the cacophony of sounds that is Metallica, Madonna, Miley Cyrus or even Mozart.

Spirit guides must yell themselves hoarse, trying to get through to their person on Earth. One day they might have an extremely important message for you. 'Hey, watch out! You're about to step in front of that big tru-'

Oh well, they tried. And you will have all eternity to listen to the rest of the song...

Souls in the spirit world must be highly amused to see Earthlings, plugs in their ears, stumbling through life, totally oblivious to the amazing spiritual guidance available to them.

Message to self: have Ipod-free time every day. There is life beyond the earlobes.

Do you ever experience soul loneliness?

Recently I have been experiencing 'soul loneliness'. I am not physically or emotionally lonely - I have a loving family and close friends - but I have virtually no one I can relate to on a soul level. At times like this, I fight against self-pity. I chose and created this situation!

I know the solution. I need to strengthen my connection with my spirit guides, and loved ones in the spirit world. That's my real home, after all. I know my time on Earth is just a blink, really. I want to work hard and achieve my soul purpose, and reap the spiritual rewards.

Divine guidance is yours for the asking

This morning I had a heart-felt talk with my spirit guides, seeking answers to questions that have bothered me for a long time. I trust their presence - I see their lights when my eyes are closed. It is very comforting to know that I am not alone.

They answered my questions and directed me to proof of those answers. Now I just need to have faith in the outcome. This Earth journey is hard at times, but you are not expected to travel without a trusty guide and map. Ask for divine guidance.

Hello? Hello? Anybody home?

I observed a teenager walking to school, listening to his Ipod, and had a vision of his spirit guide trying to reach him. Millions of spirit guides are trying to get the attention of their charges to guide them on their life purpose - but to no avail. Too much electronic noise.

I spent thirteen years in radio broadcasting, 'wired' to noise all day. Now I don't have a cellphone, an Ipod, or a radio, and I watch minimal television. I have plenty of clear quiet space to receive spiritual inspiration and guidance. I urge you to do the same...

Spot the clues for divine intervention

Yesterday, during my darkest time, one word keep popping into my mind. When I awoke this morning that one word crystallised into the answer to my problem. I believe my soul and/or spirit guides placed the thought into my mind until I 'got it'.

The world is a different place for me today. I have hope again, faith in the future, and I have trust in my soul contact. I am not alone, fighting blind in the wilderness. There is all the help I need, if I learn to spot the clues.
