It takes a great deal of energy to live as a human on earth - such discipline, such focus. Your soul urges you to take regular 'mini holidays' to relax and unwind. You are ordered to have fun!
I love Trivial Pursuit. Last night I played for two hours with friends and I was completely absorbed; there was teasing and much laughter. Today I feel refreshed. Games, a good book or movie, lunch with friends are healthy necessary breaks from the job of spiritual growth.

Hello again Lorraine, once again I feel the need to respond to your blog re: mini holidays, as you know my daughter recently spent a week in hospital - with me beside her every step of the way. As consuming as it was, I was also able to take a step back and realise that was a 'mini-break' I was forced to take. And a much needed break at that.
While consuming our meals in hospital, I made a comment to my daughter that for the first time in the last 15 years atleast I hadn't had to cook or wash the dishes. Sad, but true.
Yes I would have liked the mini break to be under better circumstances, of course, but realised upon my return home, that I to, felt refreshed in a strange kind of way, and held a greater appreciation for my family and the comfort of my usual surrounds, which I missed while at the hospital.
Love Light and Laughter
