Quality matters with love, not quantity

I wrote last week about feeling isolated and lonely. I don't feel like that anymore. There has been a big shift this week. I am making regular conscious contact with my teacher in the spirit world, i.e. he communicates with me via writing. He also sends reassuring messages through the day.

I know that I am deeply loved by several people on Earth, and I love them. They know who they are. It's not many people, but when it comes to love, quality matters not quantity. The combination of love from the spirit world and love from Earth has taken away my loneliness. Peace at last!

Loneliness is an illusion

If you are ever tempted to feel lonely, remember that you have many friends in the spirit world, urging you on. They are your personal cheerleading team. Life on Earth is like the tip of an iceberg: what you experience here is a fraction of the reality of your life as a soul.

'Loneliness' is an illusion of the Earth plane. Your personality uses loneliness as an excuse to feel sorry for itself. The antidote for loneliness is simple: help someone. Caring for others is how we grow spiritually. There is always someone who could do with a kind word.

We're close always...

The illusion of being separated from people we care about - whether by geographical distance, emotional upsets or death - is one of the hardest parts about being on Earth. Your soul knows the truth: we are close always. Your loved ones are just a thought away.

Every time we think of someone we love, that positive energy is directed to them, even if they are unaware of it. Thoughts have substance, power - they are not airy-fairy things. So send lots of loving thoughts to your loved one and you will always be close.

Loneliness is an illusion, thank goodness

Early in the week I felt despondent, lonely even, which is unusual for me - I am surrounded by loved ones and I am very self-contained. I phoned a friend who is struggling and we shared our feelings, read to each other from spiritual books. When the call ended I felt better.

My reading talked of loneliness not being due to 'any separative spirit but to the conditions of the Way itself'. The Way is God's plan, and our life purpose. The Way might seem very hard at times but we will succeed if we stay positive, seek support and have faith. There is no separative spirit: we are never alone, on Earth or in spirit.
