We're close always...

The illusion of being separated from people we care about - whether by geographical distance, emotional upsets or death - is one of the hardest parts about being on Earth. Your soul knows the truth: we are close always. Your loved ones are just a thought away.

Every time we think of someone we love, that positive energy is directed to them, even if they are unaware of it. Thoughts have substance, power - they are not airy-fairy things. So send lots of loving thoughts to your loved one and you will always be close.

Flu sabotages meditation practice

I had the flu for 11 days and could not meditate because of bad headaches. It showed me how much discipline it takes to maintain a spiritual connection while we are on Earth. I now have to build up my meditation practice again: meditation keeps me in touch with God.

My uncle is still in hospital, getting closer to death each day. There has been a huge outpouring of love for him as he struggles to return home. It shows me two things: love is all that matters in the end, and we all deserve a medal for surviving the harsh Earth experience.
