Today I will finish writing a little spiritual book. If I had listened to all my self doubts it would never have been written: 'Do I have enough knowledge? Who will publish it? What if it sinks into oblivion like my last book?' Its completion is an act of sheer faith.
My soul urged me to write the book - it has a much broader vision of God's plan than I do. If I listen to the urgings of my soul, I might just achieve my life purpose on Earth. Are you acting on the messages you receive from your soul? Have faith: make it happen.

Have faith in your life dreams
I have two special dreams for my life. They share a common factor: it will need a miracle for them to eventuate. During doubtful times I despair of my dreams ever happening. But most days I stay positive and hopeful, and do everything in my power to make them reality.
Your soul - and God - asks just one thing of you: that you have faith in your life purpose. If your dreams do not eventuate there will be a good reason in God's plan for it. Most importantly, at the end of your life you can look back and say (as I will): 'I really did give it my all'.

Your life purpose is as natural as breathing
I had a powerful insight this morning. I wrote an encouraging card to my friend in the Spinal Unit, with ideas on how to stay positive. It hit me then: I am a coach, not a teacher. I have always been a coach - it is as natural to me as breathing.
With that insight came a huge surge of energy. Suddenly I feel excited about the monthly spiritual groups I will lead. The focus will be spiritual self coaching: I help you to help yourself. I cannot do your journey for you. No one can. But I can give you tips along the way...

Recognising your life purpose
This morning as I organised my new business cards I had this insight: I will be a spiritual teacher and author for the rest of my life. It is the first time I have felt such surety about my life purpose. I am finally doing what I came here to do....
Ask yourself this question: Am I following the path I hope to be on for the rest of my life? If the answer is no, you are still working on identifying your life purpose. If the answer is yes, congratulations! It feels great, doesn't it?

You are more than your physical body
It is easy to forget that your physical body is just the (imperfect) vehicle your soul uses to fulfil its life purpose. The demands of your body seem endless: food, sleep, recreation, clothing, healthcare.
Here is a quick daily exercise to check on the state of your three 'bodies': physical, emotional, mental. Rate them, 0= Very bad, 10= Great. Scores: 8 - 10/10, congratulations, keep it up! 5-8/10, room for improvement. Below 5/10, serious life changes are needed. Your soul needs you to be physically, emotionally, mentally well.
