As I stand on the threshold of a new career, I am aware of my need to close a door firmly behind me. I cannot create the space to become a spiritual regressionist if I am holding on to my life coaching business. There must be a 'void' time before new energy can enter.
It's the same with all endings and beginnings. You won't attract a new partner if you are still emotionally attached to the old one. You won't settle in the new town if you are pining for your previous home. When a door shuts, we must bravely move on and embrace the future.

Life on Earth is about constant change
Many years ago, I feared change. I only felt secure when everything around me was familiar - job, home, routines, people etc. Then I discovered that life on Earth is about constant change. It's designed that way so we have plenty of opportunities to grow spiritually.
As I stand on the threshold of another big change (career), I am going through the usual mixture of apprehension, excitement, and doubts. But it won't stop me doing it. This new direction feels completely right. It is me - the true soul me - and this is my soul purpose.
When you have such surety in your life, even though the choice seems scary, have the courage to follow it with all your heart.
