I have been reflecting on the highs and lows of my life, seeing it from a soul perspective. The highs include our wonderful friends Caren and Rob (hi guys!). When you have genuine friends, who enrich and support you, you experience the joy of a soul connection.
The lows include battling with local council bureaucrats who have no flexibility or compassion. But I must accept the growth that comes from patiently working through testing issues. All parts of my life are designed for soul growth, whether I enjoy them or not.

Your life is passing before your eyes...
I have emerged from a quiet period into a potentially hectic phase. The difference shows when I meditate: my head is spinning with tasks to do while I try to calm my mind. When that happens I pull back and see my life from soul perspective.
My soul is amused actually - it saw me worrying during the quiet time that life was passing me by. What is passing by is all of life, whether busy times or quiet. One day we will find ourselves near death, looking back on this extraordinary journey. Go well until then!

When anxiety floods into your life
Yesterday the people who saw through our house twice and obviously loved it, left town without putting in an offer to buy it. My anxiety levels went into overdrive. Will they call? What if they don't? I can't handle not knowing! It was a very long day...
This morning I meditated and wrote at length in my journal. My soul knows that anxiety and fear are signs that I am stuck - I need to regroup, and move forward. Nothing and no one has the power to destroy your soul perspective. It is your greatest gift: use it often.
