Daily life throws up challenges so we learn lessons. That's why we came here, right? Today our dog knocked a tap at the base of our water tank, draining it, and it will cost $200 to refill it. $200! I felt very resentful at the waste of money, which literally drained away.
My meditation said, 'Rise above it, Lorraine. Get the joy back and move on...' It's great advice, especially as resentment is a big issue in this lifetime. Everything passes - bad weather, bills, arguments, grief and worry. All of Earthly life is, thank goodness, temporary.

Clearing your spiritual channels/arteries
I recently 'saw' the spiritual channels linked to my soul as being like the arteries linked to my physical heart. When stuff clogs our heart arteries it seriously affects our health. The same is true for our spiritual channels - they need to be kept clear and open.
There are several ways to keep your spiritual channels clear: Meditate/reflect on your soul for several minutes every day...write a regular inventory of your earthly challenges, deal with those you can, and hand the rest to God...express gratitude and love often.

Look how far you have come...
When you have a full busy life, it is tempting to focus on the mountain of challenges ahead...how will I handle it? Directing your energy only on future tasks can become overwhelming.
Reflect once a week on how much progress you have made. I am not the person I was 25 years ago. I am proud of my spiritual journey and the destructive behaviour I have turned my back on, hopefully forever. Your soul wants to honour your efforts: 'Well done!'

Your soul sees the bigger picture
I woke at 4.30am, couldn't sleep, thoughts of life challenges swirling in my mind. During my meditation this morning I was reminded that seeing life from a soul perspective is the key to inner peace.
The soul is on the mountain top - it can see the 'temporary you' toiling in the valleys. The soul also sees your future direction, and when you are at a low ebb it will send a sign of hope. A new sign this morning has boosted my morale. Always remember: you are the soul.
